If you have a 2013 Exchange acccount with Simplifying IT, you can take advantage of Outlook’s auto setup for easy email setup.
Step 1 – If this is the first email account in Outlook, simply opening Outlook will begin the setup proceedure as below. If Outlook already has email account(s), you will need to manually begin a new setup (File -> Add Account).
Step 2 – Fill out the details of your email account as below and click “Next”.
Step 3 – If you have entered the details correctly, you should receive the following alert. Click the “Don’t ask me about this website again” checkbox and select “Allow”
Step 4 – A new Windows Security popup box will appear. Select “Use Another Account” and enter the username and password details exactly as below. Also tick the “Remember my credentials” tickbox before selecting OK. It is important to enter the details exactly as below (replacing the “username” with your emails username).
Step 5 – If entered correctly, you will see a a final successful configuration page. click “finish” to complete. If you are presenting with the username and password prompt again, please check your details or contact our support team at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 1800 80 99 68.
