Setup Exchange Email on a Samsung Galaxy S3

Step 1 - From the home screen, tap EmailNote: If the Email icon has been removed from the home screen, tap Apps and then scroll to and tap Email.

 

Step 2 – Enter your Simplifying IT Email address and supplied Password. Tap NextNote: If an email account is already set up, tap the Menu key, tap Settings, and tap the + icon.

Step 3 - Tap Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

Step 4 – Enter the following details (you will need to refer to your personal email details referred to you by our staff):

Domain\username: EXCHANGE\your.username
Password: Your password (should be pre-filled)
Exchange server: getafix.exchange.mailsolutions.com.au
Use secure connection (SSL): Ticked

And then tap Next. 

Please note: If these settings do not work, please try “EXCHANGE\username in the domain\username section and try again. Replace “username” with your mailbox username.

Step 5- Tap OK to activate.

Step 6 – Select which options you would like to activate, most options can be left as they are. Tap Next.

Step 7 – Give your new account a name, it can be anything, such as “My Work Email” or “myaccount@domain.com.au”. Tap Done.

Step 8 – Your account is ready and can be accessed via the Mail app.
