Symptom: Temporary Files being created and stored in all of our groupdrive / webdrive folders when working with Office files.

Resolution: You may be able to get around this by turning on “cache temporary office files”. This option is on the site properties/file settings dialog tab in the group drive client. Click properties/then file tab and check the item “cache temporary office files”.

Or:

Open Program settings, general settings and Uncheck “Enable delayed close for open files”.

Then disconnect and reconnect to the server.
