If you use our Remote Desktop Cloud services, it is possible to view your Remote Desktop on your iPad using the free PocketCloud app, so long as it has a stable internet connection.
Step 1: Open your iPad and visit the App Store
Step 2: In the top right of the screen, search for “Pocket Cloud”
Step 3: Find the Pocket Cloud app and install the free app by pressing “FREE“, entering your iTunes account details, and then pressing “INSTALL”
Step 4: The Pocket Cloud app will now install to your home screen.
Step 5: Once the app has finished installing, open the app by pressing on it’s icon. You will now see the following screen. To set up a new connection, press “Advanced Users”.
Step 6: In the top left, press “My Computers”
Step 7: Press the (+) icon to add a new connection
Step 8: Choose “Manual Connection”
Step 9: Choose “RDP”
Step 10: Input the following server details:
Nickname: A nickname for your connection that will display as a shortcut in the app.
Host: Your Simplifying IT server host name. E.g. company.simplifyingit.com.au
Username: Your supplied username
Password: Your supplied password
Domain: Leave this blank

Step 11: Your connection is now saved. Press “Connect” to connect to your remote desktop.
Step 12: Once you have logged in, you will see the blue server login screen. Press your user icon and enter your password again to continue.
Step 13: So long as your password was correct, you will now have full access to your cloud desktop! Use the bottom toolbar to cycle between keyboards and other menu items that help you navigate your desktop without the use of a physical keyboard and mouse.
