Want to set up your Window’s mobile phone for our Exchange email? Follow these easy instructions.
Step 1 - Slide your finger left on the display, tap Settings, and then Email + Accounts.
Step 2 – Select Add an account
Step 3 – Select Advanced setup
Step 4 – In the fields, enter your email address and password. You will need to get these details from a Simplifying IT support staff member.
Step 5 – On the next screen, select Exchange ActiveSync
Step 6 – On the following screen, please enter the following details exactly:
Username: your.username (supplied by Simpliying IT)
Server requires SSL: ticked
Account name: choose a name for your account, i.e. My work email
Download new content: as items arrive
Download email from: the past 2 weeks
Content to sync: select all
Select “sign in” at the bottom.
Step 7 - Wait a moment while your email account is activated. Once complete, you may check and use your email in your mail app.
