Status: Connect Failed error in Webdrive

This error is common following a Windows update.


This error can be fixed several ways however the following is the easiest.

Step 1 – In the bottom left Windows search bar, type “services” and the Services app will appear, click on it to open the Services app.


Step 2 – In the services list, scroll down to “WebDrive Service” and select it as below. You will notice the service has not started. Click the “Start” link on the top left of the window.


Step 3 – When the service has started, it will appear as below. Exit out of the Services app and load Webdrive as normal.


If Webdrive still has an issue connecting, please call 1800 80 99 68.
